Delaware Valley Alumni Chapter
Alumni Convention in Las Vegas Nevada...
ΦΣΠ is setting out on a historic adventure this year. This year we are going
to hold our first ever Alumni Convention! To make the deal even sweeter to Alumni, it is
going to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. For this, we here at DVAC are super psyched! Most of us
have our plane tickets, our hotel arrangements, and a little bit of gambling money are ready to
go! I am looking forward to seeing all of our Alumni Brothers out there!
But what if you have been out of school for a while? No problem, realize that you are Brother
of an excellent organization. An organization that binds its membership together with the same
shared ideals. I may not know now, but trust me, after a little bit of time spent together in the
desert, it will be like we have been friends for life. So come out and have a good time!
So what is the run-down?
- Who?
ΦΣΠ Alumni and their families. Keep in mind that we will be in Las Vegas, but
the city is transitioning into a more family friendly oasis. However, until this transition
is complete, some Alumni Brothers may want to leave their kids at home and have some good
quality "what happens here, stays here" fun!
- When?
It will be held the weekend of June 10-12, 2005.
- Where?
Embassy Suites Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- How?
Well, the first step is filling out the registration packet and sending it into the National
Office. Here is the link for the
registration packet. The next step is securing a room for the weekend. This is the most
tricky part of the deal, as Las Vegas is a popular spot and rooms book quickly. This can be
done though, and some good deals are available. Getting a good deal on the room is a very good
thing as the majority of the cost will be in flying there. If you can drive and have the room,
let some other people know so they can travel with you. If you don't want to be social, why are
you going? Get the party started right!
- Why?
Do we even need to ask this question?!
